This skirt is the outcome of the designer’s work on the “Anti-police violence warrior” concept created with Ana Stervinou for the designer’s graduate collection. Inspired by the french police uniform, the goal was originally to create a “soft armor” to protect protestors against violent police and help them stand for their beliefs. It brings a statement about togetherness and a feeling of safety and strength.
Made from ethically sourced denim*, this mid-season skirt is semi-tailored, embroidered using a domestic sawing machine and is adjustable.
