The Design:
The Aviator Cropped Jacket is patterned similar to the 1940s aviator jacket but cut to the waist and made sheer. It has two cargo pockets in the front and one big one at the back. It has a hidden button placket and a tailored collar.
The Materiality:
The Aviator Cropped Jacket is upcycled and tailored from treated and reclaimed Pineapple Fiber, Soft Interfacing and Acrylic Marble Buttons.
The Eco-sustainability:
The Aviator Cropped Jacket is made from 100 % reclaimed and organic Pineapple Silk making it 100% Compostable. The fibers were treated through handwashing and sun-drying. The jacket was sewn together using a non-electric mechanical machine.
The Maintenance:
The Aviator Cropped Jacket can only be cleaned through handwashing (cold) with similar colors and can only be dried through air or sun-drying. It should not be machine-washed, tumble-dry or be placed in a dryer. It can only be ironed at silk setting when damped.
