Inspired by the sun this hoodie has a circular hem, short in the front and longer in the back. The drawstrings have hairbeads attached to them engraved with the Martha logo. The hood is lined with silk charmeuse.

This fabric is sourced from a South Korean supplier of deadstock fabrics. We strive to not have any fabrics produced for us, and only work with excess from the industry. This ensures that we can provide high quality clothing with less ecological impact. To properly take care of this item we advise to machine wash on 30 °C, do not use bleach, hang dry or tumble dry on low heat and iron on medium temperature.

Hailing originally from Curacao, Martha’s practice is thoroughly inspired by Caribbean and African heritage. A recent graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, Martha reshapes traditional garments to encourage self-expression. Upcycling the finest materials from French luxury houses, the Antwerp-based brand is synonymous with its energetic and bold colour palette, referencing a Curacaoan identity.
About the collection:
This collection is thorougly inspired by Martha's memories of the Caribbean. The moments he spend looking over the seascape in awe of the sun slowely rising above the horizon. Martha's interactions with his mother were also an important inspiration in this collection. The moments of her hanging the laundry or doing her hair became elements featured in the garments.
