About Szabo Sihag

Designer ready-to-wear label Szabo Sihag was established by Meghna Sihag and Krisztian Szabo in 2019. It is a London based luxury clothing brand. Inspired by Indian Craftmanship and heritage, Szabo Sihag aims to provide millennial women with experimental silhouettes and unique designs. Each piece has been crafted to provide an exceptional, original design for the modern woman.

Szabo Sihag is feminine, playful and exotic. The resemblance to traditional Indian wear such as Ghaghra, sari and draping of dupatta can be seen in our silhouettes. Szabo Sihag represents a unique perspective of India and its heritage.

INSPIRATION

Our latest collection is inspired by ब्याह/Byaah means marriage in Haryanvi language. This collection is based on designer’s mother's wedding and her life in a village as a teenage bride. The nostalgia of her life in the village in India can be seen throughout the collection. From volumes inspired by Ghagra to draping inspired by duppta and sari. The colour palette is very versatile influenced by classic colours of India from bright yellow to tangerine and red to shades of green.
