Description:
the versatile bag has been cut from a butter soft full grain 2.5mm vegetable tanned, washed and tumbled horse culatta leather with a visible layer of subdermal cordovan, and an aniline matte black dye treatment. culatta is a special cut combined of the rear just above the cordovan, the belly middles and the hind shanks, offering a dense structure, tight grain and medium to firm temper.
crafted with a single piece pattern construction, the bag is hand sewn with our signature overlocked sides in a tonal 0.75mm hand waxed Japanese linen thread over a 40 hour period. the unlined interior features a full length riri zipper pocket with a custom 10 hour slow oxidised zipper pull, a large open pocket and three card slots.
a wrap around panel creates two exterior pockets to the front and rear with shoe sole nails to the base. a rear center carry handle is complimented by a large shoulder strap that can be disconnected and reattached and threaded through a rear loop to work as backpack straps.
hand forged iron hardware forms the front closure and rear strap adjustments for the hand stitched double layer shoulder/backpack strap. the bag is finished off with a riri m8 zipper closure and custom iron zipper pull.
each piece comes in a hand made leather package.

Care & Maintenance:

- use and abuse me
- do not be gentle
- detergents should not be used to remove stains.
- do keep away from direct sunlight to preserve colour
applying protective cream:
- apply a thin coat of the cream on a soft and clean cotton cloth
- spread it evenly in a circular motion over the surface of the leather
- if the leather is extremely dry – repeat the process up to two times within four hours
- the protective cream provides a shine and also gently darkens the leather
- do not apply the cream directly on the leather
