About the brand:
2WO+1NE=2 is an ethical designer brand based in Athens, Greece. Based on the design project of Nomadism and espousing the principle of Environmental Consciousness, they are focusing on designing sustainable and tailored ready-to-wear collections, creating long-lasting garments, in local production, using exclusively French and Bound seams and natural fibers. Each of them is characterised by the classic 2WO+1NE=2 silhouettes, minimal clean lines and structural geometrical details, and at the same time is inspired and dedicated to a different city across the globe, drawing elements from its art scene, architecture, cinema, music, and people. The brand converts the beauty and uniqueness of each place into its edgy collections, by incorporating their craftsmanship techniques and aesthetic concept with theirs.

About the collection:
For the S/S '23 we are travelling to Tinos. Elaborate design elements, drawn from the island's long tradition in marble sculpture and arts in general, adorned our sleek and figure-hugging silhouettes, while appealing cut-outs reveal glimpses of skin. The boundaries between Fine and Folklore Art are annihilated in this unique place, an element that led us to combine the luxurious Silk Organza, the Italian Fine Cool Wool with the more down-to-earth Organic Cotton and Tencel. A dreamy journey through all of Tinos' beautiful and diverse villages, unfolds in a color palette switching between the serene ivory white, sand, -the ever present- black and the bold poppy red. The impressive village Volax, the Dovecotes that are spread all over the island and the Basket Weaving history are just a few of the many “sentences” that narrate our story. For the first time, we had the pleasure to collaborate with a unique creator, Sevastiana Konstaki, in artifacts that work as embellishments throughout a selection of the collection. Yannoulis Chalepas artworks and manipulation of form meet the construction of dry stone walls that divide Tinos' land and interweave new handcrafted "wearable landscapes".
