Description: IRO IRO presents standing collared (made from selvedge, showcasing waste) dress with pockets. With patterned up and down hem, the blue dress showcases 'leg of mutton' sleeve pattern with high-slits outer shell made from rewoven, zero-waste fabric. Inner shell imagines deadstock printed modal silk fabric, exuding comfort and elegance.
Material Details:
Rainfed Kala Cotton - This dress is made from deadstock rainfed kala cotton, which requires no pesticides to grow.
Textile Waste - Textile waste has been handwoven to create the beautiful textures that the dress showcases (100% biodegradable).
Natural Dye - Dyed in indigo
In the making of this garment, we saved:
- 500 grams of textile waste
- 12.5 kg of CO2 emissions
- 3000 liters of water
- Supported the livelihoods of 2 artisans for 5 days
