Min-Ji Kim is a London-based fashion and textile designer whose work reflects her unique cross-cultural perspective, merging her Korean heritage with American cultural influence. Through her designs, she uses fashion as a means to explore concepts of body empowerment and unapologetic self-expression. By challenging traditional gender norms, Min-Ji juxtaposes feminine and masculine elements, employing bold colors, unconventional materials, and innovative silhouettes. After completing her MA in Fashion Womenswear at the London College of Fashion in December 2022, and earning her BFA in Textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design in June 2020, Min-Ji has focused on her craft of textile design infused with strong sustainability practices. Each piece in her collection reflects a deliberate choice of organic and dead-stock yarns, emphasizing her commitment to eco-consciousness.
