The ALA MEGA necklace is part of the Terre collection, inspired by my origins, New Caledonia, a small French island located in the Pacific. Each piece is a translation of New Caledonia's culture, spirituality and imagery. It embodies through a small piece of jewelry my island's core values, such as generosity, faith, groundedness and more.
Sculpted on a metal lathe this bullet pendant is then cast in silver. Inspired by ritualistic pendulums this raw jewelry brings a sense of direction and faith to its wearer. ALA means "wanting" in Kanak dialect (New Caledonia).
Our statement necklace features a chunky handmade chain and a distinctive signature bullet pendant. The pendant, measuring 8cm in length and 2cm in width, hangs on a 37.5cm long handmade chain. With a simple closing system consisting of a clasp and jump ring at the front, this piece offers ease of wear. The high-polish, shiny finish provides a futuristic allure, and the pendant serves as a totem representation of New Caledonian traditions.
