Invitation to Theatre is a scarf that invites you to take a fantasy trip into the exuberant world of the theatre. The masks are interpretations of famous characters such as King Lear, Hecuba, King Lear’s Fool, Hamlet, Oberon, but also interpretations of the masks in Noh Japanese theatre. The composition is completed by scenes in famous plays: Rhinoceros, The Chairs by Eugène Ionesco or The Star without a Name by Mihail Sebastian. The composition’s main focus is the stylized red curtain and an emerald emblem in the middle. The yellow lily is the flower or Venice and it represents, par excellence, a symbol of the noble spirit. The composition is impressive thanks to the multitude of details and the vibrant color palette.
The composition was created by designer Andreea Tincu in acrylics, and then digitally processed and printed on silk. Each scarf is packed in golden silk paper and a premium box.
