Mawe is a tribute to the mountains and their towering peaks. The strength emanating from these powerful massifs leaves us pensive. A high place of inspiration where two worlds, yesterday and today, come together. Its summits rise up and gather messages of light, peace, and wisdom from the cosmos that surrounds them.
Mawe is a garment that expresses its essence by combining elegance with Meune's utilitarian and refined universe. We love its versatile, essential, functional and durable side.
Made of thick brushed cotton, Mawe is a trans-seasonal trench dress that stands out with its midi-length cut, two box pleats at the back and a flared silhouette emphasizing the waist. Enhanced by our signature hand-woven wool belt by Mapuche women from southern Argentina, as well as its buckle made of carved cinnamon wood by artisans within the same indigenous community.
This 3/4 sleeve dress with buttoned shoulder tabs and a French collar can be paired with our WILLO cargo pants for an iconic look.

Wash the hand-woven wool belt with cold water and very little detergent without chemicals. Ironing and drying are not allowed.
Cotton is a very soft and breathable fabric, but it is susceptible to shrinking, bleeding onto colors, and losing its shape over time.
The usual recommendation for washing a cotton garment is to wash it in cold water on a gentle cycle to avoid shrinking and fading. Avoid fabric softeners, as they can dull the finish. Drying is not allowed.
