The Spine Dress 

For the second time this dress has made it into the selection of a host on NJAL. This dress is one of only three in existence, everything is hand made and the spine detail down the back is hand molded using natural, untreated leather. The leather has also been dyed by hand giving each vertebrae a unique texture and colour.

The spine dress is one of my favorite pieces from the collection. The concept around it is based around armour and ideas of protection and the human body.
