Bone Leather Knotted Necklace 

A study of macramé, knotting, transparency & exaggerated proportion. Mono attempts to explore the spaces between art, craft, design and fashion aiming to redefine the categorical convention of these genres as well as their ideals, content, norms and expectations. The work stands for more than just a cycle of endless products and seasons; it is a stand against the complacency within the fashion ideal.

Interlacing Opposing Thoughts, SHARD & Flight are three distinct series which together represent a trilogy of different extremes of being. The work included on the NJAL website span the first two series & the latter has yet to be released. Within Interlacing Opposing Thoughts there is a play of harmony, bringing together opposing ideas & defining a balance between those conflicts. SHARD digs deeper into the depths of darkness, mood & fragmentation to explore the entanglement of broken or torn ideas.
